Barton Peveril Refurbishment

To whom it may concern,

In the Summer of 2017 Barton Peveril engaged Ascia for a major refurbishment project for the second consecutive year. The project involved a complete refurbishment and internal extension of the student social spaces, the conversion of an old fitness suite into a café and a full refit of the College’s kitchen.

The existing school canteen feel of the student social area has been transformed into a modern, flexible hub where students can meet, eat, work and socialise. The kitchen refit provides a modern facility to feed a growing student population.

In what was a very tight project timeframe Ascia were extremely flexible in working to ensure the project didn’t disrupt the day-to-day work of the college. They developed excellent working relationships with the contractors providing the kitchen fit-out and the furniture. When timescales collided they were proactive in finding solutions to deliver the project on time.

Ascia were always very responsive to requests and suggestions. They engaged purposefully and helpfully with discussions as the project took shape and proposed a number of helpful value engineering options which the College was able to benefit from. The directors were very involved and easy to contact.

I would certainly be happy to engage Ascia again in the future for similar projects.
